Chief Instructor Mr. Kyle Shultz
Mr. Kyle Schultz is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, Nationally Certified Instructor from the American Taekwondo Association, and Level 2 Krav Maga Instructor. Over the course of his Taekwondo journey, he has achieved numerous State Champion & District Titles as well as a Top 10 Ranking in the ATA Worlds Competition. He has also earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education & Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources.
As the Owner and Chief Instructor for Ferocity ATA Pocatello, he takes immense pride in every student’s growth, celebrating their progress both on and off the mat. He is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, structured instruction that builds not only strong martial artists, but confident, disciplined individuals. Every class reflects his dedication to excellence, ensuring students receive the guidance, support, and challenge they need to succeed.
Leadership and Legacy Students
As part of their personal growth and Taekwondo journey, students in the Junior, Teen, and Adult class may be invited to develop their leadership and teaching skills through participation in the Leadership and Legacy programs.
The Leadership Program challenges students to grow as martial artists while building the personal character traits that define strong leaders. Through advanced training, goal setting, communication development, and increased responsibility, students learn how to lead by example. Leadership students are encouraged to demonstrate respect, perseverance, focus, and integrity in every area of life — at home, in school, in the workplace, and within the community. The program also provides opportunities for students to deepen their technical training through advanced curriculum and specialized martial arts experiences.
The Legacy Program represents the next stage of growth. Designed for students who want to take an active role in mentoring and serving others, Legacy helps students develop instructional ability, public speaking confidence, professionalism, and team leadership skills. Participants learn how to support instructors, assist newer students, and contribute positively to the culture of the school. More importantly, they learn how to inspire others through their actions and attitude.
